About the role
We're looking for candidates with a proven track record in software engineering. The role entails actively building our key products and enterprise solutions, including developing user-oriented code and documentation to support our clients and partners. You'll also be working in tandem with our research team to materialize innovations into products.

What we think might make you thrive at MK1:
- You should have a Bachelor’s or a higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or bring to the table 4+ years of relevant experience in developing and scaling production systems.
If you held a past role as an Infrastructure Engineer, Data Engineer, MLOps or DevOps Engineer, this position might be suitable for you. - Demonstrated skills in programming in Bash, Python, C and C++ are crucial. Knowledge of Rust is a bonus.
- Familiarity with tools like CMake, Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is beneficial.
- Additional experience in high-performance computing, cryptography, open-source contributions, or roles in early-stage startups or as a founder will be highly regarded.
Compensation and benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $175,000. Total compensation also includes equity and benefits, which may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
