Software Engineer - Fullstack / Product

We’re seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join MK1 in building enterprise-grade products that elegantly blends innovation and practical application. You’ll craft key products and enterprise solutions, and deliver intuitive and delightful experiences for our technologies. You’ll work alongside our research team to materialize innovations into products.

What we think might make you thrive at MK1:

• You should have a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or bring to the table 4+ years of hands-on experience developing full-stack web applications. If you have a background as a Full-Stack Developer, Frontend Engineer, or Backend Engineer with experience in React/NextJS and TypeScript/Python, this position might be suitable for you.
• Demonstrated skills in building and managing full-stack applications from the ground up are crucial, including TypeScript/Python production experience, API design, database optimization (PostgreSQL/MySQL), security best practices and authentication systems, as well as React/NextJS for frontend development. Experience with modern frameworks and production environment configuration is beneficial.
• Strong product intuition and technical leadership skills are crucial, including the ability to craft polished UI/UX experiences. Experience in translating user requirements into business-driven technical solutions and demonstrating attention to detail in product development will be highly regarded.

Compensation and benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $175,000. Total compensation also includes equity and benefits, which may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
